English Paper Piecing in the Varda.

On a recent trip to Tasmania to work on the house we are building there, I worked on some English Paper Piecing hexagon flowers. It felt very appropriate to be doing this in the larger of the two English Caravans we imported a few years ago. (Sometimes my husband does the most amazing things !) I call it the "Varda" because it is like the Travellers Caravans you see on English TV programs. The smaller one is the "Charabanc" (little bus)

It has double glazing, wood panelling interior, pink velvet curtains, floral upholstery, a stove and heater, and a cocktail cabinet! We were very comfortable although it was cold at night. When we finish the project we will take the Varda on a tour of the places in Tasmania we haven't visited yet.
